Your favorite morning
just got sweeter
Hand-folded crêpes made from scratch on Sherman Avenue — from classic Nutella and fresh berries to savory galettes loaded with local ingredients. Every order, made just for you.
A little crêpe shop
with a big heart
Uptown Crepes started with a simple idea: bring the warmth of a Parisian crêperie to the Upper West Side. We opened our doors on Sherman Avenue because we believed New Yorkers deserved a place where food is made slowly, carefully, and with real ingredients.
Every crêpe is hand-poured, folded, and finished in front of you. Our buckwheat batter is mixed fresh each morning, our fruits arrive daily from local markets, and our coffee is roasted right here in New York. No shortcuts, no freezers — just honest food made the old-fashioned way.
From batter to your hands
There's no rush here. Every crêpe follows the same careful path — because good food can't be rushed.
Mix the Batter
Organic flour, eggs, milk, and a pinch of salt — blended smooth and left to rest.
Cook on the Griddle
A thin layer of batter hits the hot plate, swirling into a delicate golden circle.
Add Your Toppings
Choose your fillings — we layer them on while the crêpe is still warm.
Serve & Enjoy
Folded, presented, and ready — hot, fresh, and made exactly how you like it.
Loved by the neighborhood
"My go-to breakfast spot on the Upper West Side. The crêpes are always fresh, the coffee is great, and the people here make you feel welcome every single time."
"I brought friends from out of town and this was the highlight of their trip. The Complète galette is incredible — you can tell they use real, quality ingredients."
"Finally, a place that takes crêpes seriously. The texture, the fillings, the presentation — everything is on point. I come here at least twice a week."
